With appropriate care, you can enjoy your jewelry for a lifetime!
Tarnish occurs naturally and metal reacts differently from person to person.
Certain conditions can cause jewelry to tarnish quickly. Here are some tips to help you keep your jewelry looking its best:
Remove dirt and oils by gently washing your piece in warm water with a mild dish cleanser. I use Dawn blue liquid dish soap in my studio. Dry with a microfiber cloth or soft towel. Once clean from debris, your jewelry may need to be polished.
Remove tarnish by gently rubbing jewelry with a polishing cloth. I recommend owning a blue Sunshine cloth (available as an add-on at checkout) to restore your jewelry to its original luster.
Store jewelry in a cool, dry place or in an airtight bag to protect it from any moisture.
Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
Keep jewelry away from beauty products (lotions and sprays) and harsh chemicals (including chlorine.)
