What is permanent jewelry, you ask?

You choose a chain, add a charm if you wish, and a bracelet is custom fit and welded closed via a small jump ring and a tiny jewelry welder.

We call this jewelry “permanent” because it does not have a clasp. You never have to take it off, or even remember to put it on. It’s always ready when you are.

Details

Please allow 15-20 minutes (per person) to choose your chain and get fitted and welded.

If an appointment was made to reserve a time during a scheduled event, please arrive a few minutes early. We can only honor your spot if you are present.

PERMANENT JEWELRY POLICY

I guarantee the jewelry is bonded at time of purchase. If your chain should detach at the welding site within 14 days of your service, I will re-weld at no cost to you.

If you must remove your jewelry for any medical reason, your first re-weld is complimentary. Simply clip at point of connection (a fingernail clipper works great!). Otherwise, re-welds are $20. Please make an appointment.

The Spark Bar is not responsible for broken chains, lost jewelry, allergic reactions to metals, stretching, discoloration, or tarnishing. Gold-Filled can darken over time as it does contain base metals beneath the thick outer layer of gold. Avoid contact with lotions, chemicals, perfumes, etc. Dry jewelry immediately after bathing. If needed, use a mild soap for cleaning.

Not recommended for people with metal sensitivity or who have a pacemaker.

Must be at least 10 years old for welding service, accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Permanent does not mean indestructible. Just like all fine jewelry it can break if pulled or manipulated in an irregular manner.

All permanent jewelry sales are final.

Does the Spark Bar travel to pop-ups and events?

What if I need to remove my bracelet?

If it becomes necessary to remove your bracelet just use nail clippers to cut the welded ring attaching the chain. A re-weld can be done when you’re ready to put it back on for a fee of $20.

Will I encounter issues with airport security?

Nope! You will not need to remove your permanent jewelry. We’ve tested that out ourselves and traveled just fine. In fact, it’s a no-brainer travel accessory!

What if my chain breaks?

Some chains are more delicate than others, so please consider your lifestyle when choosing a chain. Rhubarb Jewelry is not liable for lost chains and charms.

What types of chains are available?

We have something for everyone! 14k yellow and white gold (rose gold available by special order), 14k gold-filled, and silver.

Private Parties

Permanent jewelry is a special gift at bridal showers, family reunions, birthdays, or at any event that is a cause for celebration! A party of ten or more is required for the Spark Bar to travel. Smaller parties can come to the Fairfield studio.
